last Blog post focussed on Australian Brands because we love to support them
but first and foremost, there are some of the best designs right here in
Australia! And with the abundance of great Australian brands we can
only expand on what we stock from this country in the future. I am getting
excited about the upcoming trade fairs in Sydney later this month and look
forward to seeing what's new. So here are another 4 of our favourite Australian
- makers of gorgeous, gorgeous Wall Stickers, each with its own inspirational,
cheerful or quirky message. No frame needed, just apply to the wall and
you’re done! And if you want to move it, just peel it off and reposition
it. Their decals are made of high quality, eco-friendly, woven, non-toxic
fabric with a similar feel to canvas. They are easy to apply and totally
repositionable and reusable. And did I mention they are gorgeous?
- Melbourne based designers of beautiful felt rugs that are not just
for children's rooms but would suit any floor space in your home. Fair trade
and hand crafted using a traditional felting process by skilled craftspeople in
the valleys of Kashmir, India, using 100% Merino Wool. We also stock two Block
Printing sets, and again it's all about showcasing tradition, and the best of
it. Learn to block print the way India has been doing it for generations.
Scout Lifstyles- makers of children's bedding. We love Scout, and this is why; simple, clean certificated design with a Scandinavian flavour. Scout have their doonas and sheets made in Portugal and their quilts made in India and the quality is impeccable! We stock single sizing however the quilts are large enough for double beds and as throws for queen and king size beds.
My Hoopla- Australian designed and Australian Made! Fantastic art and craft products from My Hoopla will impress your little artist and get their creative juices flowing. They will also impress you with their quality and attention to detail. Great paint, smooth silky gouache quality paint brushes, sturdy wood, quality fabric and paper and popular designs.
In the next blog we will feature another 4 Australian brands- bye until then.....
